Colibri del Sur is one of the most representatives brands in Oaxaca- Mexico, producing artisanal mezcal, creating culture around the product and what it means for the region, the brand has managed to position itself and sell the product inside and outside the country.
The CEO´s company wanted to create an experience place to explain the history, the journey of his brand and also a mezcal tasting.
I applied from Colombia to do the job and the CEO of the company decided to accept me into the team then I traveled to Oaxaca city to start developing the project as a consultant designer, this gave me the opportunity to impact the company with my skills in experience design, furniture design, brain storming, team working, leadership and creativity.

The experience at the location is structured as a two-step journey. In this image, you will find the first step, which includes the reception, a 'mezcal wall,' the representative agave plant, and images showcasing how mezcal is made.

the furniture is rustic and inspired in the nature material of the wooden mezcal barrels.

the glass carboy is one of the most popular objects used by some companies to keep the mezcal when is not necessary to age it.

This is the second step of the experience, where you will receive an exposition about mezcal and have the opportunity to taste it, along with a full explanation of the company and the significance of these products for the people of Oaxaca.
